It was very hard to find an article that I found interesting enough to report about. I find environmental issues in the news most of the time to be very dry, lacking luster and one sided on the issue that they are trying to report on. Also most of the articles on environmental issues were hard to understand without a lot of background knowledge However I finally found something !
The Unite Nations meet recently to take smaller steps in addressing climate issues. Last year at the year's meeting in Copenhagen they began talking about how they were going to put a stop the carbon emission problems and deal with the fact that we are living in a warming world.
In the meeting the representatives from each country were coming together to discuss deforestation and coming up with agreement on financing and monitoring measures would preserve forests.
What I really enjoyed reading about was the steps they are taking for clean energy it made me think about the trips we took in to ECHO. They are trying to find ways to inform poor countries in ways to improve their lives .
